H.E. Kingsford Amoako pays a courtesy call on Speaker of Liberia’s House

H.E. Kingsford Amoako paid a courtesy call on Speaker of Liberia’s House, Hon. Jonathan Fonati Koffa, on Friday, 16th February, to congratulate him on his speakership election and to explore ways that Ghana and Liberia can work closely together to foster bilateral relations. During the meeting, H.E. Amoako underscored the longstanding relations between Ghana and Liberia and the commonalities between the peoples of both countries that go back centuries. He recalled the recent visit of H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to Liberia as testament of great friendship at the highest levels of state. Speaker Koffa, on his part, emphasized Liberia’s commitment to a shared future between Liberia and Ghana and expressed Liberia’s firm belief in the benefits of fraternal relations under the ECOWAS protocols. Hon. Koffa thanked H.E. Amoako for his visit and indicated his desire to work together for the growth both Liberia and Ghana.
